The Revell Russian T-Armata Main Battle Tank: A Cutting-Edge Design with a Complicated History

In recent years, Russia has been working on developing a new generation of main battle tanks, and one of the most interesting and complex projects is the Revell Russian T-Armata. This tank was first proposed in 2015 as part of an effort to replace or complement the existing T-72, T-80, and T-90 vehicles in the Russian military's inventory.

The first prototypes of the T-14 Armata were developed in 2011-2013, with small-series production beginning in 2014. The unit price for this cutting-edge tank was estimated at around $7.4-7.5 million in 2017.
